A friend of mine from my pageant days contacted me a few months ago to see if I would be willing to make a few custom playmat purses for her (one for herself and two to give as gifts). Of course I was excited for the opportunity! She shopped for the fabric for the exterior of the bags, and I paired them with some coordinating bubble dots (minky) fabrics  for the interior/playmat surfaces.

Before sending them her way, I snapped a few pictures!

I love the bold whimsical print she picked out!

While yellow and green would have looked great, too…we decided to pair it with this bold pink minky for the playmat surface:
